The UDDI is a Section 21 (non profit) organisation founded on the 20th May 2003. Our mandate of creating jobs & job opportunities was birthed at that time, by support from Group Volkswagen South Africa, the  Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality and other public institutions. The UDDI functions as a facilitating body for the promotion of sustainable development in the region of Nelson Mandela Bay, with the main focus on Uitenhage & Despatch.

We are currently located in the Central Hub of the Nelson Mandela Bay Logistics Park, which is the UDDI's first flagship project.

The UDDI believes that through our networks and the cordination of public & private sector we can all influence & play a vital role in changing the circumstances of the less fortunate in the communities in which we live.
